Yuzuha Confronts Mayuka [Home] [FAQ] [You Inoue]

"Do you plan to disobey me?" Yuzuha admonishes Mayuka for developing her own ideals. (0:41:08 or Title 1, Chapter 19, 0:01:55 of the U.S.A. release DVD) This is a multi-layer cel, made up after the movie was filmed. The background painting is present for several seconds in the movie. Yuzuha was photographed afterward, processed with yellow light, to achieve the effect of a hologram. The mouth layer is actually from a slightly later scene, when Yuzuha's eyes have narrowed.
