Where the Ship is Today

After the Mason was decommissioned from the Republic of China Navy, it was sunk on 11 April 2003 to be an artificial reef. The location is 22'41.286N 121'28.333E at a depth of 40.1 meters. The location is off the east coast of the Republic of China, offshore of the northern coast of Huoshao Tao (Green Island). The hull blocks east-southeast toward the northwest (bow to 279.2 degrees) reef full side. The local diving clubs/shops can assist in visiting the ship (Green Island Adventures). My thanks to Dewey Flor (RD2) for researching this and forwarding the information to me.
